WOMAN ESCAPES FROM CUSTODY
REARRESTED DURING HER HONEYMOON. By Telegraph—Preps Association. Dunedin, July 24. Margaret Jones, a young woman, appeared in tho Police Court to-day on a charge of escaping from Te Oronga Industrial School, she having got away from the escorting matron r.t Christchurch Railway Station, remaining at large for three months, being then captured and brought to Dunedin Police Station, where she again escaped. She vas not located for three weeks, during which period she was married to a returned soldier, and the arrest yesterday interrupted the honeymoon. The caso was remanded for a week, bail being refused.
