THE CRISIS IN SPAIN
SO-CALLED CATALAN PARLIAMENT STRONG HAND AT BARCELONA (Eec. July 22, 5.5 p.m.) Madrid, July 20. The Governor, aided by armed public forces, entered the Palace at Barcelona, where seventy deputies and senators with the leaders—Senors Cambo, Lcrroux, and Melquiades—of the so-called Catalan Parliament were assembled, and compelled the meeting to disperse, which they did without incident—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. THREE RAILWAY ACCIDENTS. (Eec. July 22, 5.5 p.m.) Madrid, July 20. The Minister of the Interior, in a statement, says that Barcelona is quiet. "Work is proceeding. The Tailwayineh at Valentia struck, but subsequently resumed work. Eeports have been received of the derailiueut of a passenger train near Vara, gassa, a collision at Caspe station, between Madrid and Barcelona, and a collision on the Noathenu railway at Valentia, all interrupting the communications.—Eeuter.
