CAMPAIGNING IN DENSE BUSH ENEMY KEPT MOVING (Kec. July 20, 9.20 p.m.) London, July 19. An official report from- East Afnca states:—"Wo have continued our encircling movement southward and bouth-west-wawl of Kilwa, reaching; within one niilo and a half of Mount Sliarma, after cutting roads through dense bush. Wo clrovo tho enemy out of his strongly-de-fended positions on the Kuipa River. Our columns are now moving towards Fakaraa, Operos, and Mahonge.! The entire forco in the Songco area ((.ear the Portuguese border) has been driven towards Mahcnge. In co-operation with tho Portuguese we occupied Cocmbe, and pursued tho enemy thirty miles north-eastward."—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.-Rbuler. IN MESOPOTAMIA AN ADVANCE UP THE EUPHRATES. (Rec. July 20, 9.20 p.m.) London, July 19. An official dispatch from Mesopotamia states:—"We engaged the Turks in the direction of Armadieb, on the Euphtate-s, and inflicted considerable losses. We advanced twelve miles up the Euphrates, but were prevented from further advancing."— Aus.-E.Z. Cable Assn.-Eeuter.
