RESERVIST NOT ENROLLED
UNION S.S. CO. FINED .SO FOE EMPLOYING. At the Magistrate's Court yesterday the Union Steam Ship Company was charged with employing for more than seven days Frederick George-Stephens, a man in the Second Division who had not enrolled.
Mr. W. A. Kennedy, manager cf the Union Company, pleaded guilty under extenuating circumstances, and read correspondence with the Minister of Defence in respect to the case.
The Magistrate, Mr. S. E. M'Carthy. said he had no option in the matter, and must impose the minimum fine of X2O.
