THE MEAT TRUST
HOUSE SETS UP COMMITTEE OP INQUIRY. On tlio moLion of the Prime Minister the Rouse of Representatives yesterday set up a committee to investigate the present position and future- prospects of the meat export trade of the Dominion, and more particularly tlio operations of tho American Meat Trust. The following are tho members of tlio committee:— Tlie Eight floif. W. F. Massey, Sir John Findlay, Hon. W. D. S. Mac Donald, Messrs. .T. Anstey, G. Forbes, E. ]'. Lee, Q. V. Pearce, R. Scott, C. ,T. Talbot, and Dr. A. K. Newman.
