GOVERNMENT WOOL DESTROYED.

A fire broke out this morning in tho wool-drying shed of Greenslades, fellmongers. The brigade. confined the (lames to the brick building in winch tho fire originated. All the wool was the property of the Government, and was not insured. The building being overheated was believed to be tho cause of the fire. Tho fellmongery covers an extensive area, and contains many thousands of pounds' worth of hides, skins, and wool.
