Tho undermentioned to be temporary 2nd lieutenants (dated Juno 23) :— S.M.C.S. Penny, S.M. R, H. Hickson, A. P. M'Hardy, A. M. Smith. 9th (Wellington) East Coast Mounted Rifles. 2nd Lieut. ,T. F. Davie resigns his commission (dated June 21)? N.Z. Field Artillery (F Battery). Tho undermentioned 2ud lieutenants to bo lieutenants:—A. E. Lawry (dated March 3), G. F. Gardiner (dated March Auckland G.A. Division. Lieut. A. G. Macdonald is appointed Assistant Director of Supplies and Transport, Canterbury Military District (dated June 21). Wellington G.A. Division. Lieut. G. Finky is granted 'the temporary rank of captain while employed as ship's quartermaster (dated July 1). sth (Wellington) Regiment. Lieut. C. K. Gasquome to be captain (dated June 25). 2nd Lieut. E. D. H. Stacker 'to bo lieutenant (dated Juno 6). The undermentioned 2nd lioutenants to be lieutenants (dated June 18): P. V. Hackworth, E. G. Edwards, E. Hollis, B. A. Ginger, D. G. Bowler, E. B. Tustin, K. S. Caldwell, J. B. Bennett, C. C. Miles. 9th (Hawke's Bay) Regiment. Tho undermentioned to be temporary 2nd lieutenants (dated June 23):— H. R. AVood, G. Stewart. 11th Regiment (TaranaM Rifles). Lieut. T. J. L. Buxion to be captain (dated November 29, 1915). 16th (Waikato) Regiment. Lient.-Colonel R. W. dimming is appointed infantry instructor temporarily in Trentham Uamp (dated July 1). N.Z. Forces Motor Service Corps. Motor-Car Section, Wellington. The commissions granted tho undermentioned lapse under the provisions of paragraphs GB2 and 683, General Regulations, 1913 (dated Juno 18, 1917)-Lieu-tenants S. H. Matterson, A. J. Manchester, G. Fernandos, It. D. Jameson, l< , . G. Butler (under GB3, 1913). New Zealand Medical Corps. ■ Peter Moir, M.8., 8.5., Glas., is granted tho rank of lieut.-colonel whilst acting as members of a Special District Medical Board (dated June 21). The undermentioned are appointed members of a Special District Medical Board and granted the pay of lieuteimntcolonel at Expeditionary Force rates whilst so acting:—Major John Bonwell Sale, M.8., U.S., N.Z. N.Z. Expeditionary Force. Lieut. J. E. Cockroft is struck off the strength at his own request (dated May 31, 1015).
