CHILLY DAYS
Yesterday was fine, but distinctly cold as the evening approached. Tho night was very cold. South-westerly winds have- prevailed, with squaily and showery conditions in the for north. Present indications, says the official forecast, are for moderate to strong south-westerly winds, veering, shortly to the north. Changeable and showery conditions are to be expected, especially in the northern and southernmost districts. The barometer is unsteady.
