DEATH OF A RETURNED SOLDIER
The Defence authorities advise that 7/187-4 Patrick O'Connor Marshall, a returned undischarged soldier, died at Victoria Military Hospital (Wellington) at °10 yesterday morning. Deceased left with the Sth Reinforcements, and returned to New Zealand on May 11 last. His next-of-kin resides at 30 HankcT Street, Wellington. The certified cause of death was cancer on the liver. A funeral with military honours lias been arranged for Saturday afternoon at 2.30.
