MESSAGERIES MARITIMES LINER , SUNK London, July 10. The M'essageries Maritimes liner Caledonian (1140 tons) was sunk on June 30 by a mine or a torpedo in the Eastern Mediterranean. The Norwegian steamers Edoevstokken and Henrik Victoria were sunk by a submarine. Part of the Victoria's crew was lost.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. ATTACKS ON HOSPITAL SHIPS ARMY MEDICAL ARRANGEMENTS ALTERED. (Rec. July 12, 1.25 a.m.) London, July 11. In the House of Lords, tho Earl of Derby (Af.inis.ter of War) said that owing to tho brutal Germau submarine policy of sinking hospital ships it had become necessary to shift the military hospitals from Malta to Salonika. Seven other general ho'spitals had been sent from liritam since the policy of torpedoing hospital ships was instituted. There was also a convalescent camp at Corfu.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
