. AMERICA'S EXPORT EMBARGO NON-COMBATANTS WILL NOT STARVE New York, July 10. The "New York "World's" correspondent at Washington states that the Government lias decided not to starve non-com-batants. It has notified tho Dutch, Swedish, and Danish Governments that they must establish effective agencies, in order to limit tho sale and distribution, of exports to Germany to humanitarian uses, to meet the necessities of womou and children.— Aus.-jS'.Z. Cable Assn. DENMARK APPLIES' FOR A LICENSE. (Rec.yJuly 11, 11.30 p.m.) Washington, July 10. Denmark has applied lor a license to import meal cakes from America. The Export Council has withheld its decision until Denmark proves that the cakes will not be used to fatten cattle for shipment to Germany.
