"The enemy violently bombarded certain sectors of the Ais.no front. Local attempts north of Lafuiux Mill arid south-east of Ailles failed. The enemy launched a powerful attack on Huvtebise. ON THE BRITISH FRONT The High, Commissioner reports:— London, July 10, 2150 p.m. Sir Douglas Hai? reports: "East of Oosttavcrne (east of Wytschaete) we advanced our line slightly during the night." London, July 10. Sir Douglas Hais? reports: "Wo made successful raids southward of the YpresConiiues Canal. Hostile raiders entered an advanced post west of Warneton And trenches east of Lavcntie. Tho enemy's artillery is active in the neighbourhood of Bulleeourt, Ypres, and Nieuporf. Aerial activity is impossible owing to the weather."—Ans.-N.Z.
