Mr. Gordon, was riding at Napier last week, when ho bad three ribs broken. Ho appeared to be making good progress, and on Wednesday night did not complain of additional pains. It is'thought that he died of complications resulting from his injuries. Deceased was 26 years of age, and was popular with his fellow-riders. Tic leaves a wire and a baby daughter.
