J'ATAV FALL FEOM A TE-AMCAu'. Mr. W. G. Eiddcil, S.M., conducted an inquest yesterday morning concerning the "death, of a man named Julius iWnbcrgva traveller, aged i 2, residing nl.m Adelaido Eoad, who fell-from a moving tramcar on Alonday Jasi. and (lied, as tho result of tho foil, on tho following day. According to tho ovidenco. when tho tramcar on which JNouetiberg was a passenger was an. PHKioliing Brummond Street, hogavo tho signal for tho car to stop, and while in the-act of crossing from ono sido to tho' other ho overbalanced, and fell on to tho roadway on his head, striking tbo ground with considerable force. Tho injured man, whoso skull was fractured, was removed'to tho Hospital, where an pporahou wa.s performed, from whicli ho never recovered, and died on 'J'uesday morning. Tho verdict was to tho eilect that death was due to fractu.ro of tho RkuJl and haemorrhage of tho brain caused by deceased accidentally railing lrom»tra.nicnr. and that no blame was attachable to anyone. •
SUDDEN DFATIIS. A Maori woman named Mrs. Hera Marriner, aged -18 years, residing with her husband at 25 Holland Street, died suddenly at her homo at about 7.M p.m. on Wednesday. She complained' of tightness across the chest, and later collapsed. A doctor was called in, but by tho timo of his arrival tho woman had died. Mrs. MftTTiner leaves a family of young children. A labourer named Robert Agnow M'Callum, 58 years of ago, on returning to his house in Tory Place after work on Wednesday, complained of pains in tho chest. His wife made two efforts to sccuro the attendance of a, doctor, but failed. M'Callum continued ill throughout the night, and collapsed, and died at about 6 a.m. yesterday.
