FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION
Tho Management Committee of the Wellington Football Association met last evening. , Mr. A. E. Wills presided, and the following other members were, present: Meers. C. Webster, B.' Hill, F. O'Driscoll, W. Auld, W. Duncan, H. Yeoman, and A. Williams.
Thorndon protested against tho win of Empiro on the ground that one of the players in the latter team was over ago. Tho matter was held over till nest week, and in the meantime the chairman and Mr. Auld will make inquiries.
■ Consideration of a letter from the headmaster of tho Wellington South School re. making 1 up arrears of matches was postponed. / 'Mr.-B. L. Salmon thanked tho association for tho honour it had done him in electing him vice-president. The results ot last week's schools matches, as reported' to the committee, were:—
Island Bay 1 Clyde Quay nil; Kilbirnio 1 Worser Bay 1; South Wellington 4 Marist N nil; Northland 2 Wadescown 2.
