Mrs. Salmond, hon. secretary of the Soldiers' Club, Sydney Street, lias received tho following letter from "somewhere in Prance." It must be gratifying to tho committee and workers at tho club ,to know that theiT work for tho soldiers is so greatly appreciated:—"To the Ladies of the Soldiors' Club, Wellington, N.Z.— We, the undersigned toys of the A'moteenth New Zealand Reinforcements, beg to send our best wishes to tho ladies of tho Soldiers' Club, in Sydney Street, I "Wellington, who did so much for -us when on leavo in that oity. Although now so far away, we continually think of the many kindnesses received at your hands. We should like you to know that wo remember, and are grateful for the timo and labour'which'you so wholeheartedly gave to mako us feel at homo, and to help to keep our mates off tho streets.
