[Mr. Mnrter was a New Zealand journalist, and for many years was connected with the "New .- Zealand Times" as reporter and siib-eilitor. He wa3 especially, well-known iu connection with Rugby football in its palmy days, and as a descriptive and analytical writer on the Rugby game he had few equals. His reports of big football- matches were looked for by enthusiasts from one end of the Dominion to,the other. Ho would be about 55 years of age at the, time of his death."]
