GENERAL SMUTS IN THE CABINET
HIS SPHERE OF ACTIVITY. London, Juno 25. The "Daily Chronicle" states that General Smuts will not attend meetings of tho n'ar Cabinet when tho British domestic policy is being discussed, but as a member of the inner Committee which deals with, tho, war, consisting of Mr. Lloyd George, Lord Curzon, Lord Milnor, and General Smuts. In order to economise timo tho other Ministers will only attend when matters are discussed concerning thciv Departments.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
