A team of footballers from tho Pcatherston Camp was defeated by a Masterton team on Saturday by thirty-odd points to six. A hockey team from the camp beat a local team by three goals to two. The train from Wellington, on Monday morning was delayed for about two hours. _It is reported that there was a small slip on tho line. A sum of £150 was taken at the Masterton Patriotic Shop on Saturday, in aid of tho Trench Comforts Fund of the YjM.C.A. The . shop is opened every Saturday, and has averaged J3150 per week for the patriotic funds. At a meeting in Masterton on Monday night it was decided to form a branch of tho Second Division League.
