Abraham and Williams, Ltu., reuo.'t: In conjunction with tho other auctioneering firm wo held the second, aunual pedigree. consignment sale, at tho Showgrounds, on Thursday morning. Thcro was a largo attendance of farmers from all parts, mouch tho salo was not very spirited. Wo were able to top tho marKct with Shorthorns, Jerseys, and Holsteius, aud we sold tho only Ayrshire bull entered. Shorthorns—Our entry comprieed o very choice bulls on account of Mr. J. 0. Wright, of Matapu, and they snld at 135gns., 65ens., and 50gns. respectively to Messrs. S. Uolton, Woodvllle (2). and T. 11. Verry, SlnnKamaire. Jerscye—Only two of our entries came forward and wo sold one, a very nice 3-year bull, on account of Mrs. A. Banks and Son, of Kiwitea, to Mr. E. B. Collins, Wellington, for 45gns. Ayrshires.—The only representative of this breed was oHercd fey us on account of the RonKokakako Cheese Factory 00., of Eketahuna. The buyer was Mr. W. Holmes, of Bulls, at Hens, fhu proceeds were generously donated by vendors to tho y.M.O.A. Prieflians—On account of Mr. \V. H. Galsford, of Oringi, we offered nine head, and Bold them as follow:—Minnlo of Brundee, at 25gns., to Mr. 11. E. Green, Kairanga; Cinjjcrella, at 3flKiis., to Mr. M'Nae, of Linton; Knownot 111 of Brundee, at 49gns., to Mr. I. W. liovelock; heifer calf to Mr. I. W. Lovelock. at«gns: heifer calf, to Sir. D. N. Sutton, Makara, at Isktis; bull calf, to Mr. A. Marshall, Lonffburn, at 12Kns.: bull calf, to Jtr. J. 0. O'Eorke, at 15ens.; 31year bull, to Mr. W. Holmes, Greatford. at 17gns: Friendship II of Kokotati, to Mr. Jl'Sac, LJnton, at 30srns.
