At least one exhibit at ilio Show is an earnest of impending progress by tlio New Zealand farmor. The Avory ' Bulldog" tractor is tlio Hem referred to. A. tractor's uso on iv farm is almost iinHmitcd, and when such a splendid artielo as that turned out by tlio Avory firm is on the market, it seems that the liorsois doomed to disappear entirely from Us present placo in. tlio seliemo of agriculture. Tlio general employment of tho lniieliine -would mean that tlio farmer would liavo to work shorter hours (o achieve first-rate results, and that all tho complications that arise from tlio use oV horses would bo eliminated. Tlio "Bulldog" requires practically no cxpenditiiro except for fuel. It is easily handled, all adjustments being plain and simple. 'J.'ho tractor is, of course, available in sizes to suit different purchasers' needs, and it is probably only a matter of timo till every up-to-dato farmer will havo such, a machine .doing tho work oti his farm.
