* TEACHERS RESENT CANTERBURY BOARD'S RESOLUTION. By Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, June IS. Strong exception was taken at a meeting of the Teachers' Institute to the romarke made by a member of the Canterbury Education Board, and to tho Iβstfution passed by tie same body in reference to tho war bonus granted to teachers and other Civil Servants last vear, and tho following resolution was passed unanimously:—"That the .Napier Branch of the Teachers' Instituto.resents th'e referenco by a membor of the Canterbury Education Board to the bonus granted last year to teachore is blood monov, and takes excoption to tho resolution passed referring to tho same, considering that tho said board has no right to speak for the general body of teachers."
