SWIMMING
WOESEE BAY CLUB'S BBIZE-WIXNEHS. At tho Methodist Ohurch Boom, Worser Bay, on Wednesday evening, the prizes and certificates won by the members of the Worser Bay Amateur Swimming and Life-Saving Club wore presented by tho president (Mr. J. Brodie) in tho presence of a largo gathering. Tho president, in tho course of his remarks, dwelt upon the success of the season, and tho livo and healthy interest that had been manifested by the iuniors and lady members. The Boyal Life-Saving Society's certificates and medals wero presented ''y Mr. G. S. Hill (chairman of tho Wellington Branch of that society), and tho candidates prosonted Mr. Collier, secretary of the society, with a ca6e of pipes in appreciation of his efforts in teaching them. Musical items wero given by Mr. NortonTaylor, Mrs. Gerrio, and Miss D. Kircher. Members of tho Ladies' Committee provided supper. The prize-list is as follows: Ist, 50yds.
