Last evening tho Wellington Citr Council expressed deep regret concerning tho death of Captain S. A. Atkinson. The Mayor said that Captain Atkinson while hero had dono good work on what used to he known as the War League. His ■cablegram to Tim Dominion- indicated that he had lost none of his enthusiasm or his determination to do his duty.
