THE SECOND DIVISION
Sir,—Will you allow me space, (or a few remarks on a letter in your issue of Thursday last, signed by "Justice.-" I feel suro that there aro many others besides myself who will agree that "Justice" should havo signed hto nnino "Timid Timothy. Aged 40." .It is a ereat pity that, any man>-who may bo able to assist in terminating victoriously this awful war. should hesitate to do his' duty, be bo 21 or 41. Tho main point is for all men to bo game, and prepared to do that which these in authority tee fit to command. Nelson 6aid: "England expects every man to do his duty." Nelson did not shilly-shally over young men. old men, thin or (at men. His goal was victory at. any cost. —1 am. etc., SEMPER EADEM. Takaka, May S.
