ASSESSMENT COURT
A sitting of tlio Assessment Court was he'd yesterday, Mr. W. G. Riddell, S.M., presiding. Mr. H. E. leighton appeared for the Government Valuation Department, ajid tlie assessors for local bodies were Messrs. G. Harper (Petono and Lower Hutt), C. I. Dasent (Karori), and T. Dwan (City) By consent, the valuations of the Hutt golf links, comprisiuK an area of 78 fleree on tho Old Military Road, Lower Hutt, ■were reduced ae follow:—Capital value from £2905 to £2802; unimproved \alne from £2255 to £2152. The valuation for improvements was retained at £650.
