NARROW ESCAPE OF THE KAISER
NEARLY KILLED BY AIR-BOMBS (Koc. .Tune 10, 5.5 p.m.) ■ Amsterdam, Judo 9. The Dutch newspaper "Telegraaf" states that the Kauser had a very,narrow escape. Hβ was standing with Von Hindenburg, Princo Eitel, General Von Piessen, and Colonel Hoffman in a waitingroom at Saint Peter's Station, Ghent, awaiting the train from Osteml, when ten of the Allies' aeroplanes bombed the station. Several bomb. , ) fell on the station yard and adjacent streets, killing five soldiers two hundred yards away. The Jvaiser and Ins party were not hurt, tut ■three officers were killed ivho were nttachod to the Kaiser's staff.during his visit.
