JOURNAL OF SCIENCE

The following resolution from tho Technological Section of the Wellington Philosophical Society was considered at the last council meeting of tho , society:— "That this meeting of the Technological Section of tho Wellington Philosophical Society is of opinion that tho publication of a Dominion journal of science, open to contributions from all sources, is a necessity, and satisfies a long-left want; and hereby offers its congratulations to the Minister of Internal Affairs upon his action in founding and establishing the journal; but respectfully suggest that tho title be altered to read: 'Iho New Zealand Journal of Scionco and Technology/ thereby extending tie scope of tho journal." The council resolved to adopt and endorse this resolution of the TechnologicalSection, and to forward the resolution to tho Minister of Internal Affairs for his consideration and favourable action.
