NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW

The date for receiving entries for all divisions of tho above show has been extended to Thursday, June 7. The show ■will open on Wednesday, June 20, and. will continue until Friday, Juno 22. A pod programme of outdoor ovents has been provided, commencing with tl>o everpopular To Aute-Wanganui College matches on Wednesday, horse and pony leaping on Thursday, 'and dog trials on Friday. The pedigree cattle sale will take place on Thursday June 21, at 10 a.m., and the cattle will be stalled for exhibition on ■Wednesday, the first day of the show. The great hall space utilised at the National Dairy Show is a guarantee of dryness and comfort should the elements prove unpropitious, there being plenty to interest and entertain, indoors, including the very fine orchestra of the New Zealand Medical Corps from Awapuni, which has been granted permission -to attend by MaioT Dudley, O.Cr , the Camp. The Manawatn Poultry Association will have a fine display of birds from all OTer the Dominion, and judging , from tho amount of space applied for the machinery trade exhibits will be Tery attractive. Visitors can reckon on a real good three days' holiday at this'show.
