DAIRY CONFERENCE
NORTH AUCKLAND COMPANIES. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, June 4. The annual conference of delegates from the North Auckland dairy factories to-day resolved that the Government ehould make provision whereby aliens who are receiving fuil advantage from the successful prevention of the war shall contribute in adequate proportion to the country to bear the burden of taxation. The conference also protested against the butter-fat levy. Members of Parliament are to be asked to assist in Retting legislation to restore the amounts already levied.
