Christchurch, June l> 'Charles Butler, who was condemned tfl death for tho murder of the girl Hetty Foster at View Hill, was ; examined today by the members of the commission appointed "by the Executive Council. The. members of the commission, "Dr. Hay (Inspector-General of Mental Hospitals), Dr. Traby King (Superintendent of Spacliff Menial Hospital), and Dr. Beattie (Superintendent of Avohdale -MentalHospital), visited Lyttelton, accompanied by the Eon. J. A. Haiian (Minister of Justice), tho examination of the condemned mini was carried out, and a report has been forwarded to the Executive Council. •' ■'■ ' ■' ■ ■
