DEATH OP AN UNKNOWN HAN. At tho Magistrate's Court cn Saturday morning, the adjourned inquest touching the death of an unknown man, who was knocked down by a tramwr on Monday evening last, and'died 'he following morning in the Hospital, was held by Mr. W. G. Riddcll, S.M. Senior Sergeant Emerson said be hail HO further evidence to produce. He was unable to' find tho soldier who sfw tho accident, and helped to carry the injured mail into the Central Hotel. He if-ad the soldier's statement to the police, and mentioned that the soldier was under the influence of liquor, and unable to nalte a clear statement.
