Dunedin, Kay 31. It is announced that an agreement has been arrived at between the P. and 0. and Union S.S. Companies for a fusion of interests. The arrangement provides for tho P. and 0. Company issuing to shareholders of the Union S.S.. Company ten shillings of their deterred slock, anil paying thirty shillings cash fur each Union Company ordinary share. At tha present market price of P. and 0. stock this amounts' to something over sixty shillings for each Union CoTnpany share, while the return per share will he considerably improved. Circulars will be ip.sncd at once tG shareholders of ths Union S.S. Company requesting a reply before Juno 12. [A.
