Alellsop, Kliott, and Co.. i'ulujerston North, local agents) report on tho frozen meat markot under date London, March 16. as followe:— Prices for home-grown beef and mutton aro about 50 T>or cent, dearer than corresponding date last year. For Government controll6d mutton it Is only about Ud. per lb., and Plate mutton 2id.-3d. per lb. higher. The demand at theso prices is naturally restricted, but not to the ostent that might be imagined.
