The Defence authorities have interned Dr. Hjolmur von Damieville, medical officer of the Lahmann'Health Home. Miramar. The arrest was made quietly on Saturday, and Dr. Danneville, whoso eccentricities of attire made her a •wellltnown figure in the city, was taken to Somes Island at once. Br. Danneville, who is understood to have claimed to be of Danish birth, has been in Wellington for some years. She wears her hair short and is in the habit of wearing hat, coat, vest, collar, ami boots of masculine pattern, with * woman's", skirt.
