AVcllington Hotel and Restaurant Workers' Union the balance-sheet disclosed >i vcrv satisfactory financial iiflsition. the accumulated funds being _C6:i2 13s. •Id., as swainst JSO-t ?s. 10d. During the year 522 now members enrolled, of which number J 'G were females.
The following were elected officials of llio union for tho ensuing twelve months: President-, Mr. .T. M'Cusker; vice-prosi-dont. "Mr. J. Cleveland: treasurer. Mr. W. Gallownv; trustees. Messrs. .T. C'eveliind ami G. Wood: Mana<?e"'ent Committee, Messrs. T. Stewart. TV. Allison, T. Thmnnsnn, M. O'Mallv, and three i-e----nrpsent.Mu-ps of the female worVcrs. Mr. Harry O'Mnllev was unanimously elected general secretary for the next throe years.
