COMBINED STATEMENT EXPECTED ,
POINTS OF ABSOLUTE AGREEMENT
1 New York, May 25. The New York "Sun's" London correspondent states that M. Ribot's speech is the first of a series in which the Allies' will state their war aims. They will then issue a combined statement, declaring that they agree absolutely on:
The restoration of Belgium, Serbia, and Rumania.
The return of Alsace-Lorraine to Franco.
'J'rentino for Italy. Autonomy for the Slavs in Austria.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
THE WORLD AGAINST THE • TEUTON
New York, May 25. Judge I!. B. Gary (Chief Justice of the Supreme Court) predicts that Spain; Scandinavia, China, Holland, Switzerland, and the Central South American Republics aro likely to enter tho war against Germany. Our enemies' war effectiveness is greater than anyone realised.
