May 27, 5.5 p.m.) London, May 26. ■la the lfouso of Commons, Mr. Lloyd George (the Vrinie Minister), jn moving tho Whitsuntide adjournment, ■. said that he could not sit present state the composition of the Irish Convention. He urged the necessity of securing a representation such as would commend the Conference to tho people of Ireland, and convince thorn that the Government was making a sincere and genuine effort to havo all views and aspects of the Question represented. He had decided that it were better that no statement should be made till negotiations were complete. He-trusted that there would be no j>rolonsed delay, and appealed to all sections in Ireland to assist the Government in coming to a speedy decision — Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn,
