M'Carthy, S.M., Coroner, found-that deceased, on tlio afternoon of May 23, was killed through "being run over by u motorcur when being driven by AVhaingaroa AVirihana; that the said AVhaingaroa AVirihana'was negligent' in such driving, in that ho failed to sound his horn, other ' traffic then being in the immediate vicinity; that ho failed to keep a reasonable lookout for'such other traffic; that ho was driving at an excessive rate of speed; I further find that negligence was the immediate'eause of deceased's death." AVirihana was arrested and charged with mandaughter, and was remanded, bail being allowed, self .£IOO and two sureties.
