NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
Readers are reminded that entries for this fixture and for the Mnnawatu, Poultry Association's exhibition are duo to close on Monday, .Tune 2. A hot and exceedingly interesting departure is to be made by the- institution 0/ sheep do" trials, which are to be he/d on Friday" June 22, the final day of the show, and arrangements are now being made to that eud. The work done bv a welltrained sheep dog, as shown' at these trials, is amazingly clever, and exhibits a high degree of intelligence in the do"s competing. The pony jumping will be put forward to Thursday afternoon, instead of Friday as scheduled, to enable the dog trial events to have nlenty of time. Preparations for the show are now well in hand, tha space for exhibits being almost filled up. As usual, there will ho plenty of new ideas to be inspected, and a full three days of amusement and education is guaranteed. Intending competitors should at once apply for a schedule from' the secretary, box 85, Palmerston North.
