SCANDINAVIAN FOOD SHIPS TORPEDOED
GRAIN CARGOES LOST
Copcnhaoen, May 20. The Swedish steamers Vesterland (3832 tons), Viking, and Aspen (8103 tons), with cargoes of grain from England to. Sweden, were torpedoed in the North Sea. Two of tho Vesterlaud's and eight of tho Viking's crews were drowned.—Ans.-N.Z. Cable Assn. (Rec. Alar 20, 5.50 p.m.) Christiania, May 20.
