AN AMBIGUOUS MESSAGE. The following ambiguous cable message reached us last evening from London, dated May 15, received 11.10 p.m.: — 1 "Correspondence for Egyptian > Forces reaching London for dispatch April 27/28/29 twenty-sev-enth newspapers packets only lost also parcel mails from Australia India Par East Egypt Malta Gibraltar."—R«uter. ' Our reading of the above message is as'follows: — Correspondence for the Egyptian. Forces, reaching London for dispatch on April 27, 28, and 29, has been lost. The mails of April 27 consisted of newspapers and packets only.. The parcels mails from Australia, India, the Far East, Malta, and Gibraltar have also been lost. —Reuter.
