No news has been received frojn the West Coast, shearing on tho result of last week's,conference between the mine owners and miners.
It is probable that thu employers may leave opon to tho unions the offer they made at the conference to Diesentatives of the federation,' but'uo decision > on that point is announced. It is not the intention of the coal owners to include the offer in their proposals when they cite the individuals under the Arbitration Act. They will stipulate for a renewal of .the existinc awards or agreements. Most of these havo already expired, and tho cmnloy.ers concerned will proceed at onco to cite the unions.
