This afternoon will see the opening of the Rugby season for 10)7. At the Athletic Park the mutch between Old Boys and University is expected fo prove'a good contest, these two teams being considered the strongest in the competition. St. Patrick's College meet Oriental on ■No. 2 ground, and hore also, some bright, open play may result. At- Petoue the game is Selwyn v. Petono, while on both grounds there will bo the usnal early matches.
