THE SOCIALIST PEACE CONFERENCE
BOYCOTTED BY BRITAIN AND RUSSIA . London, May 10. Tho National Executive of the British Labour Party has refused the invitation of tho Dutch international Socialists to attend the Stockholm Conference, and decided to arrange an Allied Labour and Socialist Conference in London in June, 1918.—The "Times." A conference of .Socialists and extremists resolved not to participate in the Stockholm Congress attended hy Herr Bjorncberg and Dr. Scheidemann, as the former is acting in agreopienfc with tho latter and with other German Socialists who side with tho German Government. —Reuter. PEACE AND THE GERMAN COLONIES Amsterdam, May 10. During the discussion of tho Colonial Vote, Herr No'ske, a, Social official, said: "Peace without annexation implies the restitution of our colonies, and compensation in the event of portions having to be abandpned."
