FIGHTING IN MACEDONIA MASSED ATTACKS BY THE ALLIES (Rec. May 11, 6.5 p.m.) ; London, May 10. ( A British dispatch from Salonika ' states: —"After several days of artillery ] bombardment wo attack*! on Tuesday < night the enemy's trenches sQufli-west j of Late Doiran, on four miles of front. < We captured on the left trenches two i miles in length to a depth of live luin- ] dred yards, and consolidated our gosi- i tions. Wo captured on the right i trenches a mile long between the lake i and Petit Couroune. A French communique from Macedonia states: —"In the region of Vetrenitcli, in the Upper Valley of the Moglenitza, tho Serbs captured two "points d'appui' in tlio Cerna bend. Admiralty, per Wireless Press. —A German communique states: "The battle has continued with the greatest bitterness and violence in Macedonia. Enemy attacks north-west of Monastic failed. THE GREEK IMBROGLIO VENIZELOS FORCING THE ISSUE CONSTANTINE MUST LEAVE GREECE (Rec. May 12, 0.0 a.m.) Athens, May 11. M. Venizelos has disapproved of M. Znimis accepting the Premiership, considering' that it is undesirable to prolong the present situation'. M. Venizelos told M. Zaiinis that King Constantine should be advised to leave Greece. M. Zaimis has drawn up a decree removing forty officers from tho army, but the pro-German General Staff remains at Athens. —Aus.-N.Z. (/able Assn. PLOT AGAINST VENIZELOS Salonika, May 10. A conspiracy has been discovered to assassinate M. Venizelos.
