By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, May 9 'At Burnßide 167 fat cattle were penned. The quality was good, ,and the supply sufficient for the demand. The prices were from a par to ss. lower than last week's. Sales: Extra hulloclce, £22105.; primes £17 to £19 10s.; medium, £14 10s. to ,'£ls 10s.; light inferior, , £12 10s. to £13 10s.; best cows and heifers, £13 to £15 2s. 6d.; good £11 to £12 10s., light £8 10s. to £10. Sheep: 3600 were penned. Tho quality was good. Heavy weights'were decidedly easier, but medium weights, suitable for export, sold better. Taken all round, prices dropped 2s. per head. Best wethers 395. to 425., extra 51s. 9d., good 365. to 385., medium 325. to 345. 6d., light 275. to 295.; best .ewes 38s. to 425., ,extra 505., good 31s. to 365.; medium 28s. to 305., light.2os. to'2ss.
