Fat cattle wero firm, as were fat lambs, the latter selling up to 9jd. per lb. ovor all. Store sheep, which were mostly wethers, also sold well, and fat sheep were firm. Prime fat pigs were in demand, but unfinished sorts and stores were dull of sale.
