SOLDIER KILLED
FALLS FROM A TROOP TRAIN
Private • Andrew M'Laren, D Company, 26th Reinforcements, was killed accidentally on Saturday night. Hβ left the city for Trentham Camp on the late troop train, and by some means fell from the. train between Petone and Lower Hutt. His injuries were serious, and he died at once. The body was taken to the camp by the military authorities, and an inquest will be held there to-day. Private M'Laren was a married man. His wife lives in Kaikorai, Dunedin. ,
