FANCY FAIR AND SALE OF WORK

Attention is directed to an advertisement relating to the fancy fair and sale of work, to be opened by His Grace Archbishop O'Shea at the Town Hall (Concert Chamber) this evening at 8 o'clock. Her Excellency the v Countess of Liverpool has accorded her patronage to tho fair, the proceeds of which will be devoted to the building fund of tho new infant school" and kindergarten which it is proposed to erect in St.- Joseph's parish. An attractive programme will he presented each evening during tho week, consisting of fancy dances by the ,pupils of Miss Guise, gymnastic displays by the pupils of the Marisfc Brothers' sohools, and musical items by leading amateurs of the city. The object of the fair is ' expected to command the sympathy and support of a great many people, and it is hoped that there will be a large attendance throughout the week.
